Hello, my name is Greg Thurman of GATor Trading Company. I have been trading the markets part-time since early 1998, and trading full-time now for nearly 5-years. It has been quite a journey to say the least. The early days were akin to navigating a jungle full of killer predators, without a local quide to keep me from harms way.
A old trading partner of mine summed it up best when he said, "The Market will eat you up and spit you out and cuddle you back into her arms every day, and when you get fed up she will outsmart you, entice you and bring you back all over again."
...as a novice trader trying to take his pittance from the Wall Street Jungle, I found that to be the truth!
However, I firmly believe that if you have the right tools, tactics and mindset, you can become a consistently profitable trader. I have read a multitude of trading books, been to six Trading Expo's, been educated by a few of the best the trading world has to offer, and have committed (at least) a gazillion mistakes before finally realizing my final "A-ha" moment to becoming the trader that I aspired to be. It wasn't until I had the foresight to set out on an entirely different journey... to create my very own (and unique) performance-tracking spreadsheet - which happened to complete my missing link.
Of course, I could not have had the good sense to create such a tool without experiencing all of my earlier journey's. But I can tell you this,
