GENERAL FAQ'S Q: How did your product come about, and are you a trader, or do you just market software products? A: Read the About Me page. Yes, I'm a full-time Trader! Since the early stages of my trading career, I've been consumed with my own personal trading statistics. I started building a simple spreadsheet to record all that I desired to know about my own trading behavior. "Many" months later, my wife (seeing how much time I had spent on it), said I should try selling it. I asked a fellow trading partner if he saw true value in what I had created, or if he thought my wife was just crazy. A resounding, "Yes" was his answer... (to both questions)! After 15-months of "very" modest success, I decided to build this website (created in June of 2008) to expand what I had built upon, and have since made it my mission to help others achieve the kind of results they desire by providing a unique tool to compliment their trading management plan. Q: Do you provide customer service for your products? A: Sure do! I actually take great pride in making sure each and every client is completely satisfied. After all, I'm still giddy with delight every time a trader chooses my product. Why would anyone do any less than their best efforts to ensure complete customer "happiness"? Q: Can I use Google, MS Works spreadsheet, OpenOffice Calc or Apple Numbers '08 programs to use the product? A: Apple Numbers '08 is the only one compatible (according to Apple's website). Please review thier website for details before purchasing. Unfortunately, OpenOffice Calc will read the product, but you will have difficulties operating the program. Niether Google or MS Works is designed to be compatible with MS Excel. Q: What version of Excel can I use? A: The product was created using MS Excel 2003 (which the majority are currently using), so any version beyond (and including) MS Excel 2003 will be able to fully utilize the program. Excel 2007 users may want to convert the (product) file to the new Office format by choosing: Office Button / Convert / click OK. This will allow access to the new and enhanced features in Excel 2007. Q: Are there any other requirements? A: No, just know that screen monitor sizes of 17" (or smaller) will have a harder time viewing the application as originally intended - you'll need to zoom-out and use the scroll feature more often. Tip: using the highest screen resolution size your system allows will give you optimum viewing results. Q: Are Ugrades Free? A: Please go to the Upgrade Policy. Q: Does this Product come with resale rights, or would you be willing to let me give it away to my own customers as a bonus (it may give u exposure)? A: No - please see the 'footer' at the bottom of the page. Q: Why do you call it the "Spread`Suite"? A: Good question, Hopefully my "definition" will clear that up. Q: Can I get paid for referring other traders? A: Absolutely - Any registered user can "Spread the word" and receive a 30% commission on the total amount of each referral sale. Q: What about Refunds? A: Due to the nature of the product and type of download (.xls file, no password protection, no expiry date), I can't accept refunds. Please know that I will do everything possible to make sure your are happy and satisfied with your purchase, both now and into the future!
PRODUCT SPECIFIC FAQ'S Q: Is this spreadsheet easy to operate? A: Yes, it really is simple. Just start entering your trades into the Trade-Log section of the Market-Module, then all the (complex looking) data logs will start populating on their own. Q: I trade 3-different markets. Is it possible to keep the trades in each account grouped separately? A: Yes, but you will need (3) separate Trading-Logs. Each Trading-Log "Module" is custom tailored to the specific market that you trade in, and they will each keep track of your Starting equity, Net Equity and % Difference. Q: Is this program a stand-alone file or does it depend on a server to operate? A: It's an MS Excel (.xls) file that resides on your own hard-drive, which can be stored on any digital medium and taken 'wherever'. Q: Can I purchase any of the sheets (in the Spread`Suite) separately, or must I purchase the entire package? A: The only sheet currently being sold on it's own is the "Expectancy Calculator", which can be purchased here. Q: What if I trade from more than (1) account. Do I need to purchase a 2nd or 3rd Spread`Suite? A: Not necessarily. If you are trading the same Markets (just in different accounts), then all you need is a modification. eg., If you have two broker accounts, but both trading in the Futures market - you can still access everything from 1-file. (Basically, you'll just need an additional Market-Module and Monthly Journal Tab). Contact me with what you need and I'll invoice you, then create a specific download link just for you.
